One thing I've learned over the last 8 years of selling soap and body care products: it's really hard to scale a beauty business, especially doing it by yourself. I started making small batch soaps by hand in 2018 and quickly couldn't keep up with demand — a good problem to have. By 2022, I was faced with a choice: bring on employees and buy thousands of dollars of equipment, or work with a small batch manufacturer to help Solette grow. 

I chose manufacturing. The tradeoff was that it meant producing in larger quantities. When I started Solette, about 50 boutiques and salons across the country carried my products. However, the brick-and-mortar small business landscape has changed significantly since 2023, and I'm down to about 5 boutiques who still love and carry Solette. 

So here's where that leaves me: more inventory than I can sell through the website alone. Instead of letting it sit in storage — or worse, expire — I'm selling it to you at my wholesale prices which are up to 50% off, crazy I know.

This is a moment where I could really use your help. With prices this low, we can move through this inventory together — you get a genuinely great deal, maybe knock out some early holiday gifts or stock up on what you already love. And every bit that sells means I can put that money toward what's next: new body butter scents, and something a lot of you have been asking for — mini hand cream tubes.

I don't want you to think Solette is ending. All businesses get stuck sometimes with extra inventory, and this is my creative way to fix it so that we can bring you new things more often.
